Soundbytes is a record of the thoughts, ideas and (revolutionary) activities of Michelle Dhillon, i.e. me. I used to be a ‘proper’ journalist before I quickly realised that a hack’s life is not a particularly well-paid one (well, not nearly enough for a shiny new Carrera GT anyway) so abandoned all that hoopla and instead continued to forge a reckless path in, ahem, music journalism.
I’m the editor of NG Magazine – Nottingham’s online entertainment guide – which I set up in 2007 and the brand spanking new Rockhaq site – which allows anyone to try music journalism and gig photography, regardless of what experience you have.
